What's in My (Kate Spade) Bag? - Behind The Scene

Today I've decided to post about my "What's in my bag" video that i uploaded on Youtube a while ago. This was my first video with my own voice in it (not just music), I was actually a bit nervous about it as it feels a bit weird talking to a camera.

Also, I constantly had this big tongue problem - a simple "Please give this video a thumbs-up" would be like "Please…er…please give it…please give the video, this video a thumb…a thumbs, thumbs up". And I wasn't even exaggerating it! And then, I was worried about my English, did I use the correct words, any mistakes with my grammar…

Sometimes I found myself running out of words to say, and I just went quiet for a few seconds before knowing what to say next. It was a quite dry video, but I was really trying! LOL

Things I've learnt from filming this video was, it's always better to use natural light instead of artificial light. In this video, the spot I was sitting couldn't get direct day light and I had to use an LED light. It made the video look a bit weird, and you can clearly see the light was directly from the right hand side of my face and yet my left side was much darker.

The second tip I learnt was: It's better to re-film a video than spending more time editing it afterwards. I should have watched it right after I finished filming, then re-do it, that would have been quicker and save me time in editing.

Anyway, I am glad I've done it! It can only get easier, right (I hope)? I'm in the process of editing my beauty haul video, so please come back soon and check it out.

  1. Well done on uploading it! I've thought about doing YouTube before, but the thought of speaking always scares me a bit x
